An innovative and exciting example of New Zealand Sauvignon Blanc which combines vibrant, lively flavours of fresh gooseberry, juicy lemon and tropical fruit with a crisp, mineral edge. An elegant, sophisticated dry white.
ABOUT THIS WINE:
The stony-soiled, cool yet sunny region of Marlborough on New Zealand's South Island, is now world famous for its benchmark Sauvignon Blanc. Together with the well-known winemaker Brent Marris of Wither Hills winery, we created this fine example successfully retaining the classic vivacious New Zealand style, balanced with a notably subtle and elegant character more reminiscent of fine Sancerre. This wine is unoaked.
Serve lightly chilled, around 8-10°C, to emphasise its tangy, youthful character. A mouth-watering aperitif with enough fruity flavour to stand up to seafood, vegetarian dishes, and even cold white meat, especially smoked chicken.
